The annual general meeting of the American Heraldry Society, convened to announce the results of the election for the board of governors, has just concluded.
The new board for the year 2022-2023 is:
President – David Boven
Secretary – Kathy McClurg
Treasurer – David Pope
Governor-at-large (term ending 2023) – Joseph McMillan
Governor-at-large (term ending 2024) – Jeremy Hammond
Congratulations to the new leadership of the society, and thanks to those who participated in the nomination and election process.
The governors took time to share their goals for the coming year with members in attendance, specifically a restoration of the Society’s function in fostering lively and collegial discussion of our favorite subject, beit through a new forum or some other means.
A call was also put out to members of the public for papers/articles of scholarly quality for inclusion in a new edition of The American Herald, the journal of the American Heraldry Society.
