If you’ve noticed anything different at www.AmericanHeraldry.org, it’s because the Board of Governors is transitioning the Society’s website to a new platform. Members of the Society will be well aware of the limits of our last website, particularly the lack of a forum and an unreliable way to sign up for membership.
A number of other problems with the old site have cropped up over time but most urgently, the technology behind it has been discontinued and will no longer be supported by the hosts — so the board is compelled to start anew.
Much of our content has been saved, but will be restored and rolled out in stages as the team progresses through them. For now, it shall serve as a platform to publish announcements to members and the public.
